We are looking for Merchandisers in the Polegate area. Approx 8 - 10 hours per week* (However likely to increase during busy periods) £15.07 p/h PAYE including holiday pay. Start within 2 weeks after onboarding and training with long-term, ongoing work available. Flexible working across Monday to Sunday with some fixed days - Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Ideal experience would be in retail or merchandising - health & beauty would be beneficial - supporting new launches, refreshes, or promotional activity. Use of a car is essential. Ideal location: Polegate, United Kingdom, BN26 Territory covering: Polegate (you will be required to cover stores within 10-15 miles of here) and surrounding What You'll Be Doing: Visit a mix of high street, grocery, and convenience stores to complete merchandising tasks, audits, and set up point-of-sale (POS) materials. Confidently navigating fixtures (e.g. gondolas, bays, shelving) Merchandise products in line with agreed planograms. Make sure as much stock as possible is out on shelves to help drive sales and keep displays looking great. Arrange and top up products on shelves and displays so they're eye-catching and easy for customers to find. Where possible, negotiate extra display space to help boost sales. Some stock moving and lifting may be involved from time to time. What we're looking for: Ideally, experience in retail or merchandising. Experience in retailers such as Boots, department stores, or premium beauty chains is desirable. Someone who is available Monday to Sunday. We do have fixed visits to be completed on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. Someone reliable, adaptable, and happy working independently. If so at eXPD8, we're looking for a Retail Merchandiser based in Primark Bluewater in the DA9 9SQ area. You'll be an integral part of a field-based retail merchandising team, working on behalf of exciting household name brands. Please note that although you will be based in one area, there are work opportunities across a variety of different stores. You will be responsible for ensuring the fixtures are set up effectively, products and promotions are displayed attractively, and the shelves are well-stocked. Interested in learning more? Read on below... About the role: This role will be work across a variety of categories including: General merchandising which could include books, gift cards and cosmetics. Confirmed working days/hours: 4 hours Sunday: 08:00AM - 12:00PM Plus ad hoc work as interested and agreed! This is a fixed term contract that ends 6th December 2026, however there would be opportunity for the right candidate to move to permanent work. How you'll deliver excellence: -Compliance and Standards -You'll know and stick to the merchandising standards and guidelines, store policies and procedures and health and safety guidance. -You'll follow and implement planograms, where provided, to ensure consistency and compliance with merchandising standards. -Product Placement and Replenishment -You'll arrange and organise products on shelves and displays to maximise visibility and appeal. -Promotional and Point of Sale Setup -You'll set up promotional displays and signage to effectively communicate prices, discounts, and special offers. -Strong communication and relationship building - -You'll build and maintain good working relationships with instore colleagues, particularly department and store managers. -You'll provide accurate and timely feedback to our client account teams, via our feedback application, as the eyes and ears in the stores!
