Acting as a central point of coordination, you’ll proactively follow up on actions, identify and escalate risks or delays, and support planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities. Working closely with site teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders, including Southern Water, you’ll help maintain continuity between office-based planning and on-site delivery while ensuring projects remain on track, within programme requirements, and aligned with operational priorities. The role also supports cost tracking, forecasting, quality assurance, compliance, and stakeholder reporting. Regular site visits will provide visibility of project progress and enable effective issue resolution. What you’ll bring - EUSR Water Hygiene Card - this is desirable - Health and Safety training or recognised certification such as NEBOSH or similar - this is desirable - Understanding of Temporary Works requirements - this is desirable - Experience in a project coordination, assistant project management, or similar role within construction or infrastructure. - Strong organisational and administrative skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities. - Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects involving design, construction, and commissioning teams. - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. - Proactive approach to tracking actions and resolving issues. - Good understanding of project delivery processes and lifecycle.
