Pharmacy Technical Services is based across three sites , Royal London Hospital where we manufacture Parenteral Nutrition and Central Intravenous Additive Service ( CIVAS) products, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital where we manufacture chemotherapy products and Whipps Cross Hospital where we carry out pre-packing activities. This post will be based at the St Bartholomew’s site. This post is open to both Pharmacy assistants who have experience in Technical Services and those with an industry background. Full training and support will be provided by the production and training team to achieve this Qualification. This post will lead to registration with the Registered Science Technician Council ( RSciTech). The post holder will be required to attend college one day a week virtually via distance learning programme where attendance will be mandatory and ensure deadlines for college assignments and other requirements are met. The post holder will have the opportunity to develop knowledge, skills and experience in day-to-day technical services work. In conjunction with other members of the team the post holder will have a patient centred approach to aseptic manufacturing processes and deliver high standrads of hospital pharmacy aseptic services.
