    An exciting opportunity has arisen for an NHS sonographer appointment to work in the Gynaecology Diagnostic and Outpatient Treatment Unit on a 12-month fixed term contract. The post-holder will perform routine and complex gynaecological ultrasound examinations for patients with a wide range of presentations including pelvic pain, abnormal bleeding, suspected fibroids, and family history of gynaecological cancer. The successful applicant will contribute to the delivery of a comprehensive multidisciplinary rheumatology service, including outpatient care and inpatient consultation. The department provides a full range of core services alongside regional and nationally recognised specialist services. Contribution to the National Centre of Excellence for Behçet’s disease, within an established multidisciplinary framework, is required.
