You may be involved daily in high level impact and intense situations, requiring the regular use of conflict management and physical intervention, resulting in this being a physical and mentally demanding role. To support you in carrying out these duties each officer will be expected to successfully attend the Physical Intervention Training qualification course. You will undertake the normal wide range of general security tasks which will include (but not be limited to) high profile guarding and patrol duties, key holding, locking and unlock procedures, responding to and managing incidents including license and ideally you will hold a current SIA license and/or be willing to work towards achieving a Healthcare Security Officer’s qualification. This post will also require a DBS check to an enhanced level. You will receive a full range of induction and training into the Trust and your work.
