Reporting to the lead nurse for surgical site surveillance and the Senior Nurses for Infection Prevention and Control the successful candidate will work closely with the IPC team to gather ,analyse and report infection data including blood stream infections, surgical site infection as well as supporting the IPC nurses with collecting, reporting and interpreting data from clinical audits. The post holder will be responsible for collecting, reporting and analysing the data that will drive improvements in infection prevention and control across the Trust. In addition, there is a requirement to have excellent interpersonal abilities, good organisational skills and the ability to influence others.
