An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Band 8a Nurse Endoscopist to join our established team of Nurse Endoscopists at University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay. This role provides the opportunity for an experienced and highly motivated individual to deliver a professional Nurse Endoscopist service. Working across bay within our services at Lancaster, Kendal and Barrow, you will deliver patient centred care, in line with best practice guidelines. There will be opportunity to enhance and develop your knowledge and endoscopy skills with full support from the wider team, dependent on the specialist area that you may wish to pursue. Practice is supported and development is encouraged, by our team of Consultant Gastroenterologists and Colorectal Surgeons. Each member of the team also has additional roles, along with endoscopy, including: Bowel Cancer Screening Endoscopists, GI bleed rota, training lead, clinical lead and the Rapid Diagnostic Pathway for suspected lower GI cancer.
