Our large dietetic and nutrition department encompasses over 100 staff, including assistants and technicians, provides dietetic and nutrition support across all areas of the Trust and beyond. We are a forward thinking department that is continually looking for ways to improve our service, every contribution is welcome and every team member is valued. As a service, we are committed to CPD for all of our staff through a range of opportunities including training courses e.g. Postgraduate Masters, the PENG clinical update; BDA accredited course; master modules and much more . We also have a well-established preceptorship programme for newly qualified dietitians and we regularly run internal CPD sessions. To provide a clinically effective Dietetic and Nutrition Service in allocated area, including assessment and advice/treatment. To acts as a source of expertise on Dietetics and Nutrition for other staff, carers, clients and patients including the provision of education and training. To work as a member of a departmental team and member of the multidisciplinary team with the support of team leader and colleagues.
