    Role Purpose The Manor House Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, commercial performance and service standards of all food and beverage operations within the Manor House. This is a focused senior F&B management role, responsible for delivering a consistent, high-quality guest and member experience across Lomri, Manor Bar, afternoon tea, lounge service, private dining, conference service and cellar operations. The role does not include operational responsibility for XIX or Flo’s. The successful candidate will be expected to lead the Manor House operation with clear standards, strong team leadership, commercial awareness and a hands-on approach to service delivery. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Lead the daily operation of all Manor House food and beverage areas, ensuring service is well planned, well briefed and consistently delivered. Maintain clear operational control across Lomri, Manor Bar, afternoon tea, lounges, private dining and conference service. Ensure each service period has the right staffing, structure, standards and management presence. Take ownership of opening, closing, handover and daily operational routines. Ensure the Manor House is always prepared, presented and operating to the expected Foxhills standard. Guest and Member Experience Deliver a polished, professional and consistent guest experience across all Manor House outlets. Ensure the team are confident in menu knowledge, allergens, wine, drinks, service style and guest engagement. Handle guest feedback, complaints and service recovery professionally and promptly. Build strong relationships with members, hotel guests and regular diners. Ensure the Manor House experience reflects the quality, character and positioning of Foxhills. Team Management Lead, coach and develop the Manor House F&B team. Provide clear direction to managers, assistant managers, supervisors, bar staff, conference team members and cellar support. Set clear expectations around punctuality, presentation, service standards, productivity and accountability. Run effective pre-service briefings and post-service reviews. Support recruitment, induction, training, rotas and performance management within the Manor House team. Create a positive, disciplined and professional working culture. Commercial Performance Take ownership of revenue growth, cost control and profitability across Manor House F&B. Drive sales through strong service, confident upselling, menu knowledge and effective team engagement. Monitor daily revenue, average spend, covers, beverage sales, payroll and cost controls. Support the delivery of budgeted revenue and profit targets. Identify missed sales opportunities and implement clear actions to improve performance. Work with senior management to support promotions, events, member experiences and commercial initiatives. Standards, Training and Compliance Maintain excellent standards of food safety, health and safety, licensing, allergens and general compliance. Ensure all team members understand and follow allergen procedures without exception. Maintain consistent service standards through regular coaching, observation and feedback. Ensure SOPs are in place, trained, followed and regularly reviewed. Work closely with the kitchen, housekeeping, maintenance, events and reception teams to ensure a joined-up Manor House operation. Beverage, Bar and Cellar Control Oversee the performance and standards of Manor Bar and the wider beverage operation. Ensure strong controls are in place for stock, ordering, wastage, transfers and cellar management. Support wine, cocktail and drinks training across the team. Ensure beverage presentation, availability and consistency meet the expected standard. Work with senior leaders and suppliers to support beverage growth and commercial opportunities. Private Dining and Conference Service Ensure private dining, conference lunches, meetings and Manor House events are delivered professionally and efficiently. Work closely with the events and conference teams to ensure accurate planning, setup and service delivery. Ensure function sheets, timings, dietary requirements and guest expectations are fully understood by the team. Maintain strong communication before, during and after each event.
