Job Responsibilities for the Vehicle Technician role - Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on a fleet of light and heavy commercial vehicles. - Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using the latest diagnostic equipment. - Complete vehicle inspections and preventative maintenance. - Repair trailers and associated mechanical equipment. - Ensure all work is completed safely and to the highest standards. - Use specialist workshop equipment and tooling. - Work effectively within a busy workshop team whilst maintaining accurate job records. - Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills. - Own tools required. - HGV licence and trailer experience desirable but not essential. - Full UK Manual Driving Licence. - Flexible to work a rotating shift pattern.
