The ESR / Allocate Optima Implementation Consultant will facilitate, train, coach and support in the delivery of the project key aim, which is to support optimal use of the Trust’s current Allocate Optima systems and its associated procedures to realise optimal systems benefits operationally. This post is a replacement post and will be mainly based at Queen Mary’s Hospital for Children which is on the St. Helier site, however in keeping with Trust principles cross site working is encouraged and may be required. The post holder will help deliver Community Paediatric services for the London Boroughs of Merton and Sutton. We are keen to support a suitable candidate to develop an area of interest which supplements the work of the department. While this post does require the candidate to providea namedrole, we would support colleagues who may wish to develop into these roles in the future. There are no on-call commitments unless desired. We currently offer our patients a wide range of services including diagnosis and management of all types of Developmental Problems e.g. Global Developmental Delay and Autism assessment in the under 5s, Motor Coordination Disorder, Neurodevelopmental disorders and Neuro-disability, Down syndrome and CLA clinics. This is a new post created as part of Oxleas Trust redesign of the community psychosis pathway. This has partly been driven by the events in Nottingham in June 2023, and a desire for the Trust to be able to deliver a more assertive, flexible and evidenced care pathway for patients with psychosis. Oxleas has excellent Early Intervention in Psychosis Teams delivering care for first episode patients from age 18-65 with a team based in each Borough. These have typically been rated as good or excellent in the annual NCAP audit. The team has a full time band 7 and a full time band 6. The main function of these staff is to provide daily assessments. The team will have support from 2 days of a higher trainee and possibly a day from a GP trainee, which will most likely be a physical health clinic where patients may need blood tests or an ECG prior to resuming medication. These 2 junior medical posts will be shared with the Greenwich EIP team. The team will have admin support. The team will overall have line managerial support from a Trust-wide band 8 post and within each Borough there will be senior pathway lead roles. Key relationships within the team will be with our Borough based EIP teams and the clinical and operational leads in the new Community Psychosis Teams. The team will need to work collaboratively with our existing Hubs and also colleagues within our crisis pathway when admission, Home Treatment or MHA assessment are required. This post is partially a replacement but also a new post, created in response to the increasing demand for Stroke services provision both in hospital and the community. The successful candidate will work closely with the two existing Stroke Physicians. The Hillingdon Hospital provides Acute Stroke service for the people of Hillingdon, Hayes, Harlington, Ruislip and part of Ealing. Our designated 24 bedded Acute Stroke Unit offers intense stroke rehabilitation for patients referred by our local HASUs (NWLH & CXH). The team includes 1 x SpR from geriatric rotation, 1x CT1/2, 1x FY2 rotating every four months as well as a Trust Grade SHO. The team includes Neuro-physiotherapists, Neuro-occupational Therapists, SALT, Dietician and psychology input. There is a dedicated Stroke Clinic every week and daily TIA clinics. There is a Stroke specialist nurse at Hillingdon hospital, who supports the Stroke/TIA clinics. We have 2 dedicated MRI slots for our outpatients. We were awarded a Gold star for our TIA Services for two consecutive years. There are weekly neuro-radiology meetings, on Mondays with one of the Imperial College Neuro-radiologists. There is also a neuro-vascular MDT with Northwick Park hospital every Friday. In addition, a monthly cardiology MDT takes place for PFO cases. Stroke inpatient MDT meeting happens weekly on Wednesdays. The post-holder will be responsible to the Divisional Director of Unplanned Care at The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. The post is a minimum of 10 PA including 7.5 PA DCC and 2.5 SPA. SPA includes clinical and educational supervision, audit, personal CPD and mandatory training. Personal CPD must be included as part of annual appraisal which is mandatory and required for the revalidation process. The post holder will, together with his or her consultant colleagues and other health care professionals in the Directorate, provide an effective and comprehensive service on the Stroke unit and the outpatient Stroke clinics. The post holder will work closely with colleagues to support quality improvement and service development in the department. The Hillingdon Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is the only acute Hospital in the London Borough of Hillingdon and offers a wide range of services including accident and emergency, inpatient care, day surgery, outpatient clinics and maternity services. The Trust is seeking to appoint a Consultant in Intensive Care Medicine. This is a substantive post, and applicants will be expected to have suitable experience within Intensive Care Medicine. The new appointee will share the caseload, facilities, and trainee grade support with the existing consultants. Requirements of the post-holder are listed below. The post is whole time and offers 8.5 Direct Clinical Care Programmed Activities (PAs) and 1.5 Supporting Professional Activities (SPAs). This post has been created to support the expansion of the Intensive Care Unit and to improve care for patients with tracheostomies, as well as to provide cover for the ITU follow-up clinic. The post holder will hold a CCT in Intensive Care Medicine. Experience working as a locum consultant in Intensive Care, or a fellowship in Intensive Care, would be advantageous. The appointment is to the Trust, not to specific hospitals. The appointee will take his/her share of clinical responsibilities within the Department of Intensive Care Medicine, working alongside the existing 29 ITU Consultants. This will include provision of the ITU follow-up clinic and tracheostomy ward round, as outlined in the job plan above. In addition to any duties within a subspecialty of interest, the appointee will be required to provide critical care for adult patients as appropriate to their training and experience. There is a need to develop a team with a strong emphasis on delivering a cross-site service across the Queen's Hospital and King George Hospital sites. Post-holders will be required to work on each site. The Gynaecological Unit, led by Mr John Bulter, at the Royal Marsden has a strong reputation for its multidisciplinary approach to the management of gynaecological malignancy. Professor Susana Banerjee is Clinical Research Lead for the Gynaecology Unit. The gynaecology research team, led by Professor Banerjee, is world class developing, leading and delivering phase I-III clinical trials several of which have led to changes in clinical practice. Acute Oncology Service (AOS) provision was identified in 2009 as a key recommendation of the National Chemotherapy Advisory Group (NCAG) for improving quality and safety of emergency care for those patients with previously undiagnosed cancer and complications of cancer or treatment.
