ETT MDT clinicians carry out assessments which are discussed in the weekly post assessment meeting where psychiatric diagnosis/(es) and a management plan (in line with the current evidence base) is agreed. A weekly MDT meeting also allows for discussion and review of open cases. Staff in the Enhanced Treatment Team currently includes a consultant child psychiatrist (1.0),– this post , psychologist (0.6), child psychotherapist (1.2), family therapist (1.8), nursing (0.4), CBT therapist (0.5) as well as administrative support. Each case has a case manager allocated from within the MDT. Central and North West London (CNWL) specialises in caring for people with a wide range of mental and physical health needs and is one of the largest mental health trusts in England. Each CAMHS service has its own local management structure: Kensington & Chelsea CAMHS has a Lead Psychiatrist, Therapies lead and team manager who work closely with the inner boroughs service manager. Each sub-team has a psychiatry and therapy lead and they, together with the team and service manager form the local senior management team which meets monthly. The postholder will be part of the SMT. The Kensington & Chelsea CAMHS team is well established and staffed by a large multi-disciplinary team of clinicians. We aim to provide an accessible, flexible and responsive local service for patients and professionals working with children in the area using a range of therapeutic interventions including behaviour, systemic, CBT, IPT-A, DBT, psycho-dynamic and group therapies as well as psychopharmacological approaches. Kensington & Chelsea CAMHS is a Tier 3 service, accepting referrals from GPs, paediatrics, schools and Children’s Services. The service has active service user groups for young people and parents. This fixed-term post is available for 9 months, with the possibility of extension to 12 months, commencing ideally in November or early December 2026. This is an excellent opportunity for a consultant seeking to gain experience within a highly supportive London teaching hospital and to become part of an ambitious, forward-looking department. The key responsibilities of the post include: • Providing a comprehensive Dermatology service, including inpatient referrals, outpatient assessment and treatment, and telephone and electronic Advice and Guidance to local GPs. • Undertaking consultant-led adult dermatology outpatient clinics. Subject to service requirements and the successful applicant's interests, paediatric dermatology clinics may also be incorporated into the agreed job plan. • Participating in skin cancer services, including 2WW clinics and multidisciplinary team (MDT) meetings where required. • Providing timely assessment and management of inpatient dermatology referrals. • Sharing responsibility for delivering evidence-based, high-quality care for inpatients and outpatients, including all associated clinical administration. • Participating in undergraduate and postgraduate medical education, teaching and supervision of junior medical staff. • Working collaboratively with General Practitioners, multidisciplinary colleagues and partner organisations to support integrated patient care. • Contributing to clinical governance, audit, quality improvement, research and the ongoing development of the Dermatology Department. • Working in accordance with Trust policies, professional standards and the requirements of the Consultant Contract, while liaising closely with the Clinical Lead, Service Manager and Divisional Operations Manager. This is a locum anaesthetic consultant post for a motivated candidate interested in anaesthesia for obstetrics & major cancer surgery. The post covers sessions on labour ward including elective caesarean section lists at Queen Charlotte’s Hospital and major general surgery lists at Hammersmith Hospital. QCCH is 1 of the oldest maternity hospitals in the UK internationally renowned for the care of women with complex medical and obstetric problems and is also a tertiary referral unit for fetal care. Specialist services include maternal medicine, dedicated obstetric medical clinics for women with haemoglobinopathies and other haematological disease, cardiorespiratory disease, renal and liver disease. We have a 2-bedded maternity HDU with a dedicated midwifery team, able to provide non-invasive ventilatory support and manage full invasive monitoring. QCCH is a designated centre for the management of abnormally invasive placenta. This post requires subspecialty interest, experience and training in obstetric anaesthesia. Hammersmith Hospital provides complex cancer surgical services in gynaecology, endocrine, hepatobiliary and upper GI specialties and is a regional and national referral centre for these specialities as well as a busy kidney transplant centre. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to deliver peri-operative care to patients undergoing these complex procedures, including providing anaesthesia for these specialties in our new robotic theatre suite. The successful applicant will join a dedicated team of obstetric anaesthetic consultants at QCCH providing daytime cover for labour wardand separate consultant cover for all day elective caesarean section lists.At QCCH the delivery rate is approximately 5,700 per annum with a caesarean section rate of approximately 50% and a regional analgesia rate exceeding 60%. There are two newly refurbished operating theatres with four recovery beds, two level 2 HDU beds, four large high risk delivery rooms to accommodate multiple and complex births and a further ten delivery rooms on the labour ward. In addition to sessions at QCCH, the post holder will be expected to provide anaesthesia for a variety of surgical specialities at the Hammersmith Hospital including upper GI, hepatobiliary, endocrine, gynae-oncology, urology and renal including transplantation. The job plan will be flexible and formulated in partnership with the successful candidate. This arrangement allows us to respond to service requirements efficiently, as well as facilitating CPD, educational and annual leave requirements. Although two hospitals, QCCH and Hammersmith are considered as one anaesthetic department. The job includes a 1:8 on call component which covers obstetrics only. There is a dedicated resident anaesthetic registrar (ST5-7 level) covering labour ward. The SPA allocation will be 1 per week (4 hours). SPA time is given to support continuing professional development, teaching, clinical governance and preparation for appraisal.
