The Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate will have: Proven experience in a Bid Manager, Proposals Manager or similar role within a Tier 1/main contractor environment. Strong experience managing construction tenders from strategy through to submission. Ideally, demonstrable experience of two-stage tendering. DfE / Education sector experience is highly desirable. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. The ability to turn technical and commercial information into compelling client-facing content. Strong stakeholder management skills. Working closely with Information Governance and Legal colleagues, and teams across the wider organisation. Your decision-making will be informed by robust analysis and critical assessment. What you'll need to succeed * Expert knowledge of the FOI Act and FOI qualification, with extension experience in the handling of FOI requests * Good knowledge of the Data Protection Action 2018 * Experience of applying FOI and Data Protection legislation in a complex organisation * Experience of delivering excellent customer service and strong relationship management skills* Good understanding of Information Governance processes * Ability to draft correspondence and reports * Flexibility to understand and implement change and continuous improvement * Experience of working collaboratively, and an understanding of the skills required to work productively within multiple teams * Strong customer service skills and experience in considering the best outcome for the customer * Experience in handling customer complaints and delivering advice and guidance to colleagues* Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as negotiation and persuasion skills* Ability to use technology to create a better service for stakeholders internally and externally What you'll get in return This is initially a 6-month contract working on a hybrid basis.
