The role will involve assessments leading to formulations of distress, development of care plans, the delivery of interventions to this population and use of Outcome Measures and Feedback Tools to evaluate service effectiveness, under clinical supervision. The post will focus on addressing or alleviating the effects of young childrens emotional and behaviour problems and parent-child attachment difficulties. Interventions will include delivery of group parenting programmes. The post-holder will be expected to participate fully in the delivery of such programmes and to undertake training and supervision as required to support such delivery. The CAMHS EY service pays close attention to parent-child attachments. The post-holder will deliver interventions, as appropriate, to support child attachment. The post-holder will be involved in the implementation of service evaluation, as required, in line with the CAMHS Outcomes Research Consortium (CORC) and CYP-IAPT developments. The post holder will be required to work in clinic and community settings such as nurseries, schools and Family Hubs and with children and parents in their own homes.
