Maintain standard of documentation in accordance with the NMC Standard for Records and Record Keeping 10. We provide a comprehensive ultrasound service to a wide range of specialities within the hospital and local GPs. At Hammersmith Hospital, we perform a wide range of ultrasound examinations including general abdominal, gynaecological, transplant kidneys, small parts, venous and carotid Doppler and contrast enhanced microbubble scans. At Charing Cross Hospital, we perform general abdominal, gynaecological, small parts, Testes, including Head & Neck, venous Doppler, MSK and contrast enhanced microbubble scans. At St Mary’s Hospital, we perform general abdominal, gynaecological, small parts, MSK and early pregnancy scans. We also have a busy recurrent miscarriage clinic where we provide ultrasound services to investigate for congenital uterine anomalies using 3D TV scan. Posts are available at Hammersmith Hospital, Charing Cross Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital. Sonographers are not required to rotate between sites and current working hours are Monday to Friday, 08:30 to 17:00 but this may change in the future to provide 7-day service. All three departments are excellent to work in, where further training and development is supported. Depending on development and service needs, the post holder will be expected to work across Central London Community Healthcare Trust locations within the London area and may at times be required to work at other CLCH sites/localities to ensure Community Hospital patients have access to high quality clinical pharmacy services. We provide medicines management and medicines optimisation services from our four hospital sites across the City of London and East London. We are looking for motivated and dynamic pharmacists to join the department at Barts Health to participate in the rotational band 7 pharmacist programme. The programme includes 9-month rotations across the four different sites of Royal London hospital, St Bartholomew's hospital, Whipps Cross hospital and Newham hospital. You will work closely with medical and nursing staff and the wider multidisciplinary team on a wide range of medicines optimisation matters, and to ensure standardisation of medicine policies and procedures wherever appropriate. You will also be expected to contribute to the research agenda working with staff across the Pharmacy department and student placements. The post holder will work on the wards and deliver quality care to patients at ward level through efficient medicines optimization. This will include the assessment of patient's own drugs, medicine reconciliation, original pack dispensing at ward level, counseling patients about their medicines and coordinating the supply of discharge medication. The post holder will work with their ward-based team to continually develop the service, while maintaining high standards and achieving best practice to meet the needs of patients and the Trust.
