    An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Technician (electrical) to work in the Estates Maintenance Team. The Trust is seeking a qualified trades person to develop their engineering background with some management duties to support the Maintenance Manager. You will be part of a great team who are responsible for the delivery of a comprehensive maintenance and installation service across the Trust’s estate. The post attracts a band 6 salary plus overtime + on call allowance + any call out payments. The post holder will have both technical and managerial duties and act as an Authorised Person (AP) for Low Voltage works for which full training and development can be provided. The Trust and the Head of Service are committed to technical development of our staff with great opportunities to further training and support in career development. Applicants must be a suitably trained time served electrician and have undertaken an apprenticeship. You will be carrying out maintenance and installation work across our Trust properties and work with a variety of our specialist contractors and engineers. Our aim is to provide our patients and staff with compliant, safe, and pleasant environments to work in. You will enjoy working with all our clinical staff, nurses, doctors, and corporate staff to support them in their work. As a member of the Estates and Facilities Maintenance team the post holders are responsible for delivery of the Trust’s planned maintenance and repair service. Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the post holders will have line management responsibility for half the team comprising of Multi-skilled Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance Assistants. The post holders have a technical role in ensuring that planned maintenance is programmed, carried out and all relevant documentation is retained ensuring that all relevant regulatory and advisory frameworks are followed. The post holders will have Authorised Person LV (LVAP) duties for which training will be provided and will participate in the crafts persons on call rota. The post holders will work closely with the Maintenance Manager and Work Planner to improve planned preventative maintenance (PPMs), legal compliance and the reactive maintenance service across the estate.     Applicants are invited to apply for the post of Senior Locally Employed Doctor (ST3+ Equivalent) in Reproductive Medicine. The post is suitable for doctors wishing to gain clinical experience in Reproductive Medicine, either to pursue a career in this subspecialty or to complement their career in general gynaecology. These posts are designed to provide invaluable experience in this subspecialist area whilst providing clinical services in the Department of Reproductive Medicine, working closely with the Consultants and multidisciplinary team. Candidates that are non-GMC registered at the point of application will be considered for this position, under the Trusts International Fellowship Scheme (please note, there is a £500 admin charge for this scheme). Please note there are 2 posts available- one full time and the other 30 hours. • Outpatient clinics:The clinical fellow will provide care for couples presenting with subfertility, including those needing assisted conception treatment. They will conduct initial fertility assessments, identify risk factors, adequately counsel and arrange further investigations as required. The clinical fellow will work under supervision of a consultant and recognise their roles within the multidisciplinary team • Ultrasound scan lists:The clinical fellow will be trained to undertake independent gynaecology and fertility scans lists. There is the opportunity to complete British Fertility Society certification for fertility scanning. • IVF procedure and assisted conception skills:The clinical fellow will gain experience in managing couples with infertility and those undergoing assisted conception. They will gain training in egg retrievals, intrauterine inseminations and embryo transfers. Their responsibilities will also include review of patients admitted to the ward with complications of treatment (such as OHSS). • Administrative work:The post holder, in collaboration with the other Clinical Fellows already employed in the department would have responsibility for the day-to-day management of patients undergoing assisted conception treatment.
