The Cardiac Angiography Suite (CAS) is a unique area of the Oxford Heart Centre made up of 5 Cath Labs, a 16 bed Day Unit and a 4 bed Assessment Area. Patients undergo a wide variety of cardiac procedures within the area including Coronary Angiography/Intervention, Pacemaker/ICD implantation, Electrophysiology Studies/Ablations, Structural/Congenital procedures and Trans-Aortic Valve Implantation (TAVI). We also perform nurse-led cardioversions, transoesophageal echo, and drug challenges. The team in CAS strive to provide each and every patient with the best care possible in a safe and welcoming environment. On-call duties will enable you to supplement your earnings and the allocation of on-call shifts is flexible. A typical month of on-call comprises of one week night per week, and one/two weekend days per month. Previous experience in the area of cardiac nursing is desirable; however there is a comprehensive training and induction package in place to support individuals in developing all the required skills. As part of your induction you would be offered the opportunity to attend the Cardiac Foundation Course alongside other nurses from within the Heart Centre. The supernumerary period is generous and is tailored to meet individual needs.     We are excited to offer some temporary bank hours for Senior Clinical Psychologist posts to support our newly funded Specialist Weight Management Service, which broadens our existing Bariatric Surgery Service offer. We have 0.8 WTE available of funding at 8A grade, for 6 months' work. We anticipate that this funding may be split between two successful candidates, potentially at 0.4 WTE each. Clinical supervision and line management will be provided by the clinical lead for the Bariatric Surgery Psychology Service. To provide a specialist Clinical Psychology service to adult patients accessing the Specialist Weight Management Service at Calderdale and Huddersfield NHS Trust. To provide specialist psychological assessment and formulation to patients, with the potential of brief therapeutic input where appropriate. This requires taking full professional responsibility and exercising autonomous judgement, in matters of professional practice. To engage fully in clinical supervision and provide feedback to the Specialist Weight Management Service MDT through written reports along with consultation with the Principal Clinical Psychologist. To offer advice and consultation on patients’ psychological care and functioning to colleagues and other non-professional carers, as required. To work autonomously in the execution of these duties and within professional guidelines and the overall framework of the Clinical Health Psychology Department and Trust policies and procedures. The Job Description outlines the roles of the Senior Aseptic Assistant, Aseptic Services. You will work closely with and support the Chief Technician and Deputy Chief Technician in the day to day running of the Technical Services aseptic suite, providing a quality, GMP compliant service, supplying aseptically prepared medicines including clinical trials, in a timely manner to all service users.
