You'll play a key part in supporting the day-to-day operation of a large directorate of over 300 staff, coordinating workforce administration, financial processes, governance activities and operational support that enables clinical and technical teams to deliver excellent services.     Oversee day to day management of patients on the vascular ward including providing supervision of more junior members of the vascular team. Attendance at vascular out-patient clinics and operating lists. Participation in weekly MDT and monthly morbidity and mortality meetings. On call would provisionally be a 1 in 8 non-resident and includes management of emergency vascular admissions to the Freeman as well as providing cover for the Royal Victoria Infirmary where the Major Trauma Centre is located. There is NO commitment to General Surgery.
