Key Duties Produce Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and drainage reports to support residential and commercial development projects. Design sustainable drainage systems and surface water management solutions. Manage projects from initial instruction through to successful delivery. Provide technical guidance and support to colleagues within the wider engineering team. Support planning applications and development proposals. Build and maintain strong client relationships. Manage multiple projects and competing deadlines effectively. Requirements Degree qualification in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. Previous experience within a flood risk, drainage or civil engineering consultancy environment. Experience preparing technical reports for planning submissions, including Flood Risk Assessments (FRAs) and drainage strategies. Working knowledge of industry-standard drainage design software. Experience producing engineering drawings using CAD software. Good understanding of current drainage standards, planning requirements, flood risk and Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) principles. Strong communication and client-facing skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities. Full UK driving licence. Desirable: Experience with hydraulic or flood modelling software.
