We're on the lookout for top talent nationwide but you need to be located within reasonable travelling distance from one of our offices. They enjoy venturing out into the community. taking part in activities, going to the beach, bowling, going out for meals and picnics. Bright care Residential Service is located at St Mary’s Bay, the service is a detached chalet bungalow situated within quiet residential area. The service users enjoy spending time in their beautiful garden, growing fruit vegetables and plants and taking part in many of the activities such as football, bowling and swing ball, access to the garden is via their wheelchair ramp. The Role You will: To supervise and lead a team of support workers to enable our service users to lead as fulfilling and satisfying a life as they possibly can. To act as a role model for staff, so that they are encouraged to understand the people you are support. To be actively engaged with service users and staff, continuously seeking opportunities for improvements to service users’ lifestyles and staff’s skills and commitment to achieve this. To participate in the day-to-day implementation of individual support plans and activities within a challenging environment. To maintain effective communication and liaison with service users, families and other whilst respecting appropriate confidentiality. To maintain accurate notes and records as and when required. To work as part of a team to provide high quality care. Who We’re Looking For We’re seeking people who are caring, patient, and respectful, with a positive and resilient approach. You should be confident working independently and within a team, have good communication skills, basic IT and written abilities, and be flexible and reliable. Requirements NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent is essential. Experience in supporting adults with challenging behaviour, learning disabilities and/or mental health issues.
