We are seeking an experienced and highly capableSenior Programme Support Officerto play a central role in the delivery of the BSW EPR Programme for a fixed term / secondment of 18 months.     The Senior Pharmacy Purchasing Officer provides clerical and administrative support to the pharmaceutical ordering system, processing over 50,000 orders per year for medicines and associated materials, the value of which exceeds £11 million. The team of purchasing officers are responsible for maintaining up-to-date and accurate computer files, placing and processing orders for pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical products, validating invoice prices and processing these for payment, maintaining a computer data base for staff reports and month-end private sales invoices. Liaises with suppliers to encourage timely deliveries of medication. Plans own workload and meets urgent requests. The role will predominantly focus on contract variance claims. Or a qualification which was recognised at the time of qualification by the Secretary of State for Justice as per Section 10 of the Offender Management Act 2007.The following qualifications gained in England and Wales were previously recognised as providing such eligibility: Diploma in Probation Studies, Diploma in Social Work (with Probation Option) CQSW (with Probation Option)
