Security Officer - Aviation Catering Security Location: Newcastle Upon Tyne (NE1 5DL) Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour Hours: Monday to Friday, 04:00 - 12:00 Contract: Full Time We are currently recruiting for a Security Officer to join a specialist aviation catering operation based in Newcastle. This role plays a vital part in maintaining the security and integrity of food and catering products destined for commercial aircraft, ensuring compliance with CAA aviation security regulations and company procedures. Key Responsibilities Monitor food preparation and catering production areas. Ensure aviation catering security procedures are followed at all times. Apply and record security seals on airline catering units and vehicles. Conduct security checks in accordance with CAA guidelines. Maintain accurate records and documentation. Report any security breaches, discrepancies, or concerns immediately. Work closely with catering and operational teams to ensure compliance standards are met. Requirements Previous security experience is desirable but not essential. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict procedures. Reliable, professional, and able to work independently. Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability to pass pre-employment screening and referencing checks. Flexibility to work early morning shifts. What We Offer £12.71 per hour.
