Due to retirement, an exciting opportunity has arisen in the Cardiac services department for aClinical Audit Officerto join our team. The successful individual will collect patient admission data to support benchmarking with best practice for the National Cardiac Outcome Research Centre UK. Working with the cardiac specialist nurse teams and the NCA audit department to evidence the key performance metrics that report standards of cardiac care delivered. We are looking for a candidate with who has proven experience of clinical audit and exceeds in analytic data collection, excel and pivot tables with high concentration levels and attention to detail, with experience of working to targets. Ideally the candidate will have and demonstrate understanding of National Heart Failure Audit and Myocardial Ischaemia National Audit Project.
