You will be required to carry out health tasks following relevant, appropriate training and competency assessment. Provide high-quality person centred care and support for an individual with complex healthcare needs in their own home and/or in the community. Support client with complex and unpredictable conditions such as chronic and acute pain, spasmodic limbs, physical and sensory disability, neurological impairment, memory loss, acquired brain injury, autism and mental health challenges. The role of a Complex Care Support Worker or Personal Assistant enables me to live an independent life in my own home whilst ensuring that my health and wellbeing needs are met. Key Responsibilities: One to one supervision and support is needed in all areas of client’s daily life Helping client move around safely, using assistive devices. Assist in moving and handling transfers from bed, chair, car, etc to and from wheelchair and repositioning to prevent pressure damage.
