Deliver safe, effective and evidence-based care from initial presentation through discharge or referral. Utilise advanced clinical decision making, diagnostic, and prescribing/PGD skills to ensure high quality patient outcomes. Act as a clinical leader, providing supervision, mentorship, and education to junior colleagues and students. Promote high standards of professional practice, safeguarding, and health promotion in line with national and local guidance. Contribute to service development, audit, research, and quality improvement to enhance patient outcomes and service efficiency. Undertake autonomous assessment, diagnose, treatment, and management of patients presenting with minor injuries. Order and interpret appropriate investigations (e.g., X-rays, ECGs) Prescribe safely and appropriately under independent/non-medical prescribing authority or PGD guidance. Provide effective patient education, safety-netting, and discharge planning. Recognise, initiate, and escalate care for patients requiring urgent or emergency intervention. Ensure accurate documentation and use of clinical IT systems in line with Trust policy. Will provide clinical support and advice to all members of the Emergency Care team. Will support the key quality indicators ensuring 15-minute triage times and 4 hr breaches are met and assist with initial assessment of all patients in MIU. Will be part of the Kidderminster emergency response team.
