Help Someone Walk Out of Hospital and Back Into Their Life 💷 £14.70 per hour weekdays | £16.50 per hour weekends 🚗 30p per mile mileage allowance ⏰ Paid for your shift, not per visit ✅ Guaranteed hours available Locations: Dacorum (Hemel Hempstead, Tring, Berkhamsted), Hertford & Ware, Sawbridgeworth and surrounding areas Most Care Jobs Support People. This One Helps Them Get Their Independence Back. Imagine supporting someone who has just come home from hospital. A few weeks ago, they were living independently. Now something as simple as making a cup of tea, walking to the front door or preparing a meal feels overwhelming. You become the person who helps them rebuild their confidence, strength and everyday skills. You encourage. You motivate. You celebrate every small achievement. And over a matter of weeks, you watch someone progress from needing support to living independently once again. That's what Reablement is all about. If you want a role where you can see the difference you make every day, we'd love to hear from you. Why This Role Is Different Unlike traditional home care, Reablement focuses on helping people regain the skills they need to live independently following an illness, injury, fall or hospital stay. You're not simply doing things for people. You're helping them learn to do those things themselves again. Every visit has a purpose. Every small achievement matters. Every day brings the opportunity to change someone's future. 💷 Paid for Your Shift – Not Per Visit Let's be honest. One of the biggest frustrations in home care is being paid by the visit while spending valuable time travelling between calls. That's not how we work. As a Reablement Care Assistant, you will be paid for your scheduled shift, not per call or visit. That means: ✅ Greater certainty over your earnings ✅ Less pressure and rushing between appointments ✅ More time to focus on delivering great support ✅ Better continuity of care for clients ✅ Mileage paid on top of your hourly rate We believe quality care comes from giving our care professionals the time and support they need to do their job properly.
