    Job Summary The Urgent Care Team Leader supports the Urgent Care Service Manager in the operational planning, delivery, and development of the non-clinical components of the Integrated Urgent Care (IUC) and Out of Hours (OOH) services. Working collaboratively with the Service Manager and other team leads, the post holder ensures that all service areasincluding Primary Care Centres, Fleet, Quality & Complianceare safe, well-resourced, and effectively managed. This role requires the post holder to be a trained Mental Health First Aid champion and a Freedom to Speak Up Champion. The post holder will also act as Infection prevention and control champion. The post holder will be first aid trained. The role operates on a 9-week rolling rota, with 7.5 hours of work per day across a 5-day working week (which will include weekends). Working hours are scheduled between 8:00am and 10:00pm. Where contracted working days fall on a Bank Holiday, employees are required to work as part of their normal rota. The role also includes a 1-in-9 rolling on-call rota. Employees participating in the on-call rota receive an on-call allowance of £200 per week. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership Support the Service Manager in delivering high-performing IUC and OOH services. Deputise for the Service Manager when required. Participate in the Tactical (Silver) On-Call rota (1 in 9). Monitor and help achieve access targets and KPIs. Ensure services meet internal and external standards (e.g., CQC, Health and Safety). Responsible for sites and fleet where LCW deliver services; sites allocated quarterly and rotated quarterly so all team leads are able to understand the service delivery sites for LCW over time. Support the enactment of LCW health and safety management across sites and with staff. Support with the drafting of responses to complaints and incidents. Stakeholder Engagement & Service Development Respond to stakeholder enquiries and ensure satisfactory resolution. Support service improvement initiatives and change management projects. Assist in investigating complaints, feedback, and patient safety incidents (PSIRF), ensuring timely action and shared learning. Act as an operational point of contact with partner organisations e.g Imperial for UTC and PCC delivery, the Whittington for UTC and PCC delivery etc. Support LCW in its work to understand and continually improve patient experience through gaining feedback and taking actions to address. About the role: Our solo provisions predominantly involve those on shift caring for children who may display a range of emotional, social or behavioural difficulties, including children who may have experienced trauma, have attachment difficulties, children showing sexually problematic behaviour or at risk of sexual exploitation. They may be struggling with mental health issues and have suicidal tendencies, require specific support from our provision, or be subject to a depravation of liberty order by the courts and require a specific reduction plan to support them. Children who have experienced substance misuse or children experiencing relationship difficulties within their families and supportive networks; or young people with ASD may also require our service. Our solo provisions are situated within Hulls local community and designed not to stand out as different to anyone else’s family home. The solo provisions are small, but comfortable and caring, creating a warm environment for those that come to reside at their new home. Our shifts within the Solo provisions consist of a one day on/ two days off pattern – start times will vary dependant upon the manager of each solo provision. The role is to provide a highly skilled level of care to each unique young person in our homes. This will include taking the lead on shift as there are only two staff members per shift, you will be expected to work within our lone working policy and make professional safeguarding decisions that will impact both the young person and the team – this will specifically apply where there is no senior care officer present. You will also be expected to be competent in both written work and admin that is specific to the role and be able to clearly communicate any information necessary, or that needs passing on to relevant professionals. You will be expected to work proactively and positively with our complex young people in what can be a challenging and demanding role. The solo provisions provide a rewarding environment in which working with our young people will provide a platform to help them achieve their full potential and move on positively into the next chapter of their life. About you: We require all Care Officers to have: A level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent, or the ability to complete this within two years of appointment. Woodlands Surgery, Eden House, 48-49 Bateman St, Cambridge CB2 1LR Peterborough City Care Centre, Thorpe Road, Peterborough, Cambridgeshire, PE3 6DB Key Responsibilities Provide safe, high-quality outpatient ENT services in line with clinical best practice and governance standards Work collaboratively with the ENT Lead and report to the Service Manager (Operations) to manage all aspects of the ENT service in line with agreed objectives Contribute to the development and optimisation of patient pathways, improving access, outcomes, and patient experience Support service efficiency by driving best practice in performance management and financial sustainability Identify opportunities to reduce costs, implement innovative ways of working, and improve service delivery Lead, motivate, and support the multidisciplinary team to achieve maximum efficiency and high standards of care Role Requirements Full GMC registration with a licence to practise Extensive experience in ENT outpatient care, including management of paediatric ENT patients Ability to manage all routine ENT conditions independently within a community clinic setting Demonstrated ability to work autonomously while maintaining high clinical and professional standards Strong understanding of clinical governance, patient safety, and quality improvement Experience of service development, pathway optimisation, and improving operational efficiency Ability to work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and service management Commitment to cost-effective care, innovation, and continuous service improvement Excellent communication, leadership, and organisational skills Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) Who we are Omnes Healthcare is a growing, forward-thinking organisation delivering NHS Primary and Secondary Care services since 2006.
