This is an established post into the Luton Community Mental Health Team Structure. The post will complement the current structure of consultant and trainee psychiatrists within the community mental health teams covering Bedfordshire and Luton. The post holder will support the multidisciplinary team in the management of patients with mental health needs not on CPA and those patients subject to CPA, as envisaged in relevant NICE Guidance (at present). I need someone who is positive and accepting about the LGBTQ community, is neurodivergent-affirming, and who has an Interest in discussing current topics. I like folk/traditional dancing and music, gardening, wildlife and cats. I like taking photographs and going for walks, for example in Goldenacre Park or on Otley Chevin. I can be very anxious, so I would like support in dealing with things that I'm worrying about, thinking about decisions I need to make or have made. I need support in finding other people who can support, like a driving instructor, accountant, tradespeople, and help with making phone calls. I am happy to have a support worker who is vegan or vegetarian, but they would need to be ok with being alongside me to cook meat and dairy products. We are looking for a reliable and experienced Maintenance Person to join our care home team and help ensure that the home is maintained to a safe, comfortable and high standard for our residents, staff and visitors. Key Responsibilities • Carry out general day-to-day repairs and maintenance throughout the care home. • Undertake basic plumbing, decorating, carpentry and minor electrical tasks where appropriately qualified/competent. • Carry out routine checks of the building, equipment and grounds. • Complete planned preventative maintenance and maintain appropriate records. • Carry out regular health & safety and fire-safety checks as required. • Ensure residents' bedrooms, communal areas and external areas are maintained to a high standard. • Carry out refurbishment and improvement works within the home. • Respond promptly to urgent maintenance issues. • Ensure all work is undertaken safely and with minimal disruption to residents.
