Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating. The scheme supports unpaid carers when there is an emergency and they are unable to provide support for their loved one by providing a temporary package of care up to 48 hours for their loved ones in their own home. About the role The successful candidate would need to be able to be ‘on call’ for a period of a few days at a time. During this period, you would need to be able to respond to a referral. If you are not required to attend any calls out you will be paid 11 hours a day at the on call rate. If you do have to attend a call out you would be required to attend the client within a 2 hour period and possibly stay with the client up to 48 hours depending on the circumstances. If you attend a placement this would be paid at a higher rate of pay. Role Responsibilities as a Care Assistant You’ll join our team of dedicated Care Assistants to provide the highest possible level of care in supporting and assisting our residents in all aspects of daily living, including providing personal care and support with daily activities such as washing, dressing and eating. You’ll be responsible for promoting our resident's independence with a focus on choice, dignity and respect, alongside promoting their physical and emotional wellbeing. You’ll complete all Daily Charts to a high standard, ensuring that 90% and above is achieved during all Monthly Daily Charts Audits.
