An exciting opportunity has arisen for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 Community Speech and Language Therapist to join the team, working within the Home1st Planned Care and Domiciliary Speech and Language Therapy pathways. The successful candidate will work with adults requiring Speech and Language Therapy input in their usual place of residence, including their own homes and residential or care settings. The role will include working with patients who may require more urgent intervention through the Home1st pathway, as well as those requiring SLT-specific input through the Domiciliary pathway. This post would suit a Band 6 Speech and Language Therapist or an experienced Band 5, who has experience in independently assessing and managing adults with dysphagia and communication difficulties We are committed to flexible working and encourage applications from individuals interested in part-time hours or secondment opportunities. The post holder will have experience in providing specialist assessment, treatment and management for adults with acquired speech, language and communication needs, as well as eating and drinking difficulties, that maybe due to neurological and progressive conditions, age related or due to other health conditions in a range of community settings. The role requires excellent clinical reasoning, communication, organisational and caseload management skills, alongside the ability to work independently, lone work safely, contribute to multidisciplinary working, and deliver high-quality, person-centred care. Care at Home Care Assistant Location: Chester Job Type: Full-time & Part-time Salary: £12.71 – £15.00 per hour (depending on experience) We are seeking compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care at Home Care Assistants to join our growing team. As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, enabling them to live independently, safely, with dignity and respect. As a Care Assistant you will build positive relationships with clients and their families while delivering personalised care tailored to individual care plans. Every visit should reflect our commitment to compassion, respect, dignity, and excellence in care. Key Responsibilities: • Provide personal care, including washing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. • Assist with medication in line with care plans and company policies. • Prepare meals and support with nutrition and hydration. • Carry out light household tasks, including cleaning, laundry, and shopping. • Offer companionship and emotional support to promote wellbeing. • Support clients with mobility and attending appointments or social activities. • Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or wellbeing. • Maintain accurate care records and follow all safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures. • Deliver care with compassion, respect, and professionalism at all times.
