Are you an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in construction, engineering, surveying or design? Frimley Health Trust benefits on Vimeo Project and Design Management • Lead feasibility studies and design development for major and minor capital schemes, including the preparation of whole-scheme budget estimates. • Develop project briefs collaboratively with end users, ensuring requirements are clearly defined and formally approved. • Coordinate the development of detailed design information with members of the design team. • Lead the delivery of capital projects both on and off site, ensuring they progress effectively from inception to completion. • Monitor and manage project budgets, identifying and addressing financial risks at an early stage. • Provide professional and technical advice on capital projects and estate development as required. Procurement and Contract Management • Identify and recommend appropriate procurement routes in accordance with Trust Standing Orders and Standing Financial Instructions (SFIs). • Prepare technical specifications and tender documentation for smaller capital schemes and manage the associated tender process. • Manage external design consultants and contractors, ensuring clear project requirements and formal briefings are established. • Administer scheme contracts, including the use of ProCure22 templates and proformas where appropriate. • Monitor contractor performance and ensure a high standard of workmanship throughout construction. Stakeholder Engagement and Communication • Build effective working relationships with clinical, operational and Estates and Facilities colleagues, ensuring their requirements are understood and incorporated into project delivery. • Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. • Provide regular progress updates on capital schemes, including formal reporting on a fortnightly basis or as required. • Work collaboratively with consultants, contractors, local authorities and other external organisations to support successful project delivery. Information, Governance and Assurance • Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic project records for all relevant schemes. • Ensure Trust CAD drawings and associated technical information are kept accurate and up to date. • Obtain and maintain accurate as-built and as-installed drawings for completed projects. • Ensure projects are delivered in accordance with relevant Trust policies, procedures, contractual requirements and governance arrangements. • Support the Associate Director, Hard FM, with delivery of the capital programme and contribute to the strategic planning and development of the Trust estate. • Work flexibly across theFrimley Health ICS patchas required. Working as part of a multi-disciplinary Estates team, the Estates Compliance Manager reports to the Associate Director of Estates. The post holder will require advanced specialist knowledge or healthcare design standards, construction legislations and NHS specific requirements, including Health Building Notes (HBN), Health Technical Memoranda (HTM), NHS England Estates Guidance, Building Regulations (Including Building Safety Regulator Higher Risk Buildings) and Health and Safety Executive (HSE), CQC and PLACE audits. The post holder will work closely with the Estates Contracts Manager to ensure all contracts are in compliance with the above requirements. The post holder will manage and chair the Estates Compliance and Safety Group meetings and attend divisional Health & Safety meetings, Infection Prevention Control meetings and others where necessary as the Estates representative and maintain the Estates Schedule of Derogations and Estates Risk Register. The post holder will work closely with the Authorising Engineers (AE) to ensure all systems are regularly audited and action plans are managed. We have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and dynamic B7 Speech and Language Therapist (SLT) to join our acute Speech and Language Therapy team working across both hospital sites. This is a time of change for our provision as our community service moves to another organisation and therefore a time of opportunity to establish this now solely acute service. This is a development role progressing from a B7 to B8a. Clinical leadership skills are paramount, and support will be given to develop operational management skills. You will be the clinical lead for SLT working at HHFT and part of the progression will be to join the Therapies Leadership Team. You will be offered support and an individualised plan by the one of the Therapies Leadership team to enable you to develop from a B7 to an 8a role. This role is based at Basingstoke and north Hampshire Hospital, where you will be a clinical team member, but will have cross site working to Royal Hampshire County Hospital in Winchester. Instrumental assessments (both FEES and VFSS) are provided on both sites, for inpatients and community outpatients, and you will be leading on the governance and overall provision of these services.
